After eating Viking Waffles for years before making it available in the US, I have tons of favorite ways and healthy fun recipes of enjoying the Viking Waffles I'm so excited to share with you.
I combined my food cravings and dreams of a French Sandwich, Norwegian Waffles and the finest American cheddar cheeses to create an international brunch delight. Béchamel sauce, ham, cheese and a smear of Dijon mustard, grilled until it’s oozing, this waffle sandwich is a true brunch delight!
TO DO:
- Preheat oven to 200°C/390°F (180°C fan).
-Slather a slice of untoasted original Viking Waffle with Béchamel Sauce
-Poach eggs separately
-Layer on ham, then spread with Dijon mustard
-Bake the Viking Waffle for 10 minutes, and finally switch oven to the grill/broiler setting for 3 minutes to get some lovely bronzing on the top.
Now transfer your divine cheesy creation to a plate, add your poached eggs and dive into it immediately while it’s hot and oozy. Eat with joy!
